Cording Real Estate Group, a member of the Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate investment management platform, has strengthened its UK residential team with the appointments of Victoria Fitzgerald, Je Sie Ong and Louise Kerr.

Victoria has been appointed as fund finance controller. She will be responsible for the accounting, investor reporting and regulatory reporting for Funding Affordable Homes, a social impact fund which invests in UK affordable housing, for which Cording has just been appointed as its property adviser.

Victoria joins from Man Group, where she was a fund accountant with responsibility for two large US housing funds. A qualified accountant, she has a MSc degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick.

Je Sie has been appointed fund finance manager. She will support Paul Waggott, fund financial controller, with financial accounting, investor reporting and regulatory reporting for Cording’s UK funds, including its two private rental sector (PRS) funds, Cording UK Residential Investment Fund and PRS Club 1, as well as its other commercial funds. Cording is currently developing four PRS schemes in Nottingham, Leicester and Warrington, comprising more than 1200 units.

Je Sie joins from Grant Thornton, where she was an audit executive with responsibility for clients across various sectors including investment property, manufacturing, banking, legal, IT, leisure and retail. A qualified accountant, she gained a BSc degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of York.

Louise has been appointed investment analyst in the UK residential fund management business, supporting the team on Cording’s two private rental sector (PRS) funds, Cording UK Residential Investment Fund and PRS Club 1, and the social impact fund, Funding Affordable Homes. A qualified surveyor, she gained a master’s in Real Estate Management from the University of the West of England and a degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge.

Louise joins from JLL’s living capital markets team, where she previously worked with the Funding Affordable Homes team, provided PRS development consultancy and pricing strategy to a number of clients including developers, institutional investors and local authorities.

The appointments of Victoria, Je Sie and Louise follow those of James Whidborne in May as head of UK residential and social impact fund management and Zoe Innes in July as head of residential lettings, UK.

Tim Holden, director of residential development and asset management at Cording, said: “Victoria, Je Sie and Louise are talented individuals, who will play a significant role in the growth of our UK residential business”.

James Whidborne, head of UK residential and social impact fund management, said: “These are exciting hires and a strong show of intent for the Cording residential and social impact platform”.
